Winter is here!
For those living in the Northern Hemisphere at least. It’s the time for snow, chilly temps, winter coats and boots, but it is also the time to have a little sparkle in your office wardrobe, seeing as we are in the holiday season!
Everybody tends to focus on the event outfits because there are so many to plan for, but how about just a regular day at the office?
I personally enjoy adding a little sparkle or shine in my wardrobe daily, especially during the holidays, and here are a few examples of this:
The first outfit is one that has been on repeat for a few years now! I love it that much, because it is simple and comfortable, yet office appropriate and sparkly! I found this grey and silver threaded turtle neck tunic at H&M last year and have been pairing it with a pair of black leggings and black booties ever since! Its the go to outfit when I don’t feel so great, and need to counterbalance that with some shine!
The second outfit is all about the fit and flare, with this cute little Zara polka dot mini skirt and black top. This outfit is so much fun, as it makes you feel so classy with a little throwback to the old school girl days. Paired with tights and black ankle booties, strutting the halls at work will never have felt so great!
If you hate tights, and are not willing to sacrifice your comfort, textured leggings are an amazing alternative!
Whether they’re paired with a dress, or a tunic/long blouse, the contrast of the texture with whatever top you choose to wear is an amazing combo that looks classy. In the above image, I chose to go with the black on black look, with an H&M blouse, my Dynamite Clothing textured “snake skin” leggings and a pair of Zara pointed toe black booties.
Because the holidays are the busiest time, there is nothing wrong with feeling classy yet comfortable when having to think about what to wear when going to work! Looking classy does not mean pain, and being comfortable can also mean sexy. Its the combination of pieces that creates the balance.
