The arrival of June typically means that shorts and cute dresses come out, and a sweater gets thrown on at night because it typically gets a little chilly. This year… this isn’t the case. This year, June means even more rain, and chillier than usual daytime temps that force us to wear a light sweater on top, on the warmer days.
Yesterday seems to have been exactly that type of day.
As I was leaving the house to run errands, I realized that my T shirt and jean skirt did not make me feel comfortable. I had to run back in to throw on a sweater to make my walk to and from the car somewhat enjoyable.
My Zara open stitch knit was a perfect addition to the outfit to keep my arms covered, as apparently, this is what makes the difference.
I added the knit on top of an H&M jean skirt and blush top that I bought last year. To complete the look, I also put on a pair of blush colored high heels to bring it all together (yes, I’m comfy in heels).
We have no control over the weather, and some of us don’t really have the alternative option of going someplace nicer for a change, but let’s still try to make the most of what we have.
I hope you all had an amazing weekend and are ready for some summer fun!
