Summer season is here, and its time to have backyard fun with family and friends, a few burgers and my fav… Sangria!!! Obviously, dressing for a BBQ is likely to be very casual with a cute little summer dress, or a simple pair of shorts and a Tee, but I wanted to change it up a bit, while still keeping it casual this week.
Knowing that the weather today is 100% overcast and muggy, and that if it starts to rain, we will find ourselves indoors, I wanted to be prepared for whatever situation comes our way.
As a result, I threw on a ribbed, olive green tank dress that I got from Shop Cocktails and Luxury last year (follow them on IG to find out when Mel will have her next selections out). In addition, I topped the look off with a Grey H&M t-shirt, in which I made a knot so that It would be a little cinched at the waist, for some definition.
To complete the outfit, instead of opting for my fav high heels, which, if you know me, I practically live in, I threw on a pair of H&M silver slides from last year’s collection.
It was important for me to be comfortable, but instead of always turning to the same key casual pieces, I’m happy to have changed it up a bit too.
