Polka Dots have been discreetly making a reappearance into the fall season over and over for many years now, and every time, I fall in love with the newest version of the trend.

This season’s look is thanks to a stylish and chic Montreal blogger named Julia Mateian from The 26th look. She teamed up with a Montreal company named Shop Manoir to curate a collection for all of her followers, and it is beautiful!

Now, I must preface this post with a few statements:

#1 – Hurry and check out the collection, as it will be sold out pretty quickly. (you can click here)

#2- This post is not a sponsorship or collaboration of any kind, I just simply love Julia’s work and style, and find the collection she curated my cup of tea.

Ruffles play a key role this fall

Now, back to the dress…..

Ruffles will keep being on trend this fall

If you are the type to follow trends, you will notice that the dress is perfectly on point with its ruffles and the wrap around construction, allowing you to accentuate your waist.

Perfect look for the office

In addition, the longer sleeves and hemlines, make this dress a perfect addition to any fall workwear wardrobe!

Trying to add a little Susan flair to my outfit with these unique pumps

Now that we have a dress, what about the shoes?

Seeing as the dress is of a neutral color, a pair of black or nude pumps can easily be thrown on. But how about something different for a change? If I were a person on whom red looked good, I would absolutely suggest to throw on a pair of red pumps, as they are vibrant, and totally on trend.

Faux Fishnets for a fall edge

Since I have come to the realization that red will NEVER be my color, I opted to pair the dress with an edgy and original pair of shoes from Zara.

The mesh is attached to the shoe for a bootie feel

The pumps are black “suede” with a mesh cloth covering the foot to the ankles, reminiscent of this past spring’s trend of pairing fishnet socks with shoes or sandals. There are laces at the back that need to be tied and untied in order for the shoe to be put on and removed from the foot, which is slightly difficult to do. But once on, the shoes are comfortable.

Enjoying the warm weather while I can

Once it starts getting a bit cold, a leather coat will be a perfect add on, but in the meantime, I’m going to enjoy the heat for as long as possible.

I hope you all have a happy hump day, and you enjoy my mid-week post!

I’m trying to jazz up the blog a bit so I figured a little extra outfit idea might help you all get through the week.
