We’ve been lucky to have a warm and beautiful fall so far, to compensate for the lack of summer. As a result, I’m taking full advantage of the warmer weather by pulling off sweater dresses without tights as much as possible.

Zara Knit Sweater Dress

This dress has been in my closet for about 2 years now, but it is definitely one of my Zara favs! (I’m linking you to a completely different alternative). Although I did buy it a while back, I tend to make sure that I find an occasion to wear it every single year.

Military buttons and tulip hem

The military style buttons on the shoulders give the dress a bit of character, while the tulip flare at the bottom of the skirt ads some romantic femininity to the whole look. It’s also relatively thick to keep me warm during the cooler evenings, whether it’s with or without a coat on top.

To avoid the all black monochromatic look, I then opted to throw on a pair of thigh high grey boots from H&M to complete the look.

Sweater Dresses are always an easy outfit option for a luxe look

The biggest advantage of being able to wear sweater dresses in the fall/winter is the fact that the look is always easy to put together, yet classy, luxe looking and timeless with the right pieces.

I hope you all have an amazing Thanksgiving, Columbus day or just a Monday, depending on where you are.
